• DESCRIPTION

If you have been watching the Outlander TV series, through all of the seasons, Claire has worn an amazing collection of knits.

This design was inspired by one of my other designs for cable knit arm warmers.

The large cables are seen twisting up through the design, fanning out at the edges.

Claire Fraser is seen wearing cable knit arm warmers often in the series.

Yarn

Classic Alize Lanagold (100g (3.53 oz)/240mt (262 yards) - in the colour 903 - Navy/Brown Mix x 1

Yarn Weight - Medium 04 / Worsted / Aran / 10 Ply.

Needles

5.5mm (US 9) knitting needles

Cable Needle.

• I knit the arm warmers flat using straight needles.

• SKILLS

Level – Intermediate

This is an intermediate-level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, the purl stitch, cable stitches, casting on and casting off.

• SIZING

Length = 10.5 inches / 27 cm
Width = 3.5 inches (S/M) 4 inches (L) / 9 cm (S/M) / 10 cm (L)
