Great for stash yarn, gauges of hat shown are listed separately in pattern. Band gauge is important for best fit, others will simply give a different feel to the finished hat.

Band uses 1 oz of yarn, hat is about 1.5 oz and embellishments are from scraps, maybe 5 yds total.
