This is a modular blanket, consisting of panels that are joined with a crochet join at the end. The blanket is finished with an applied i-cord afterwards.

Four sizes are available:

1. Small: approximately 1.3 m wide x 1.5 m long
2. Medium: approximately 1.8 m wide x 1.8 m long
3. Large: approximately 2.0 m wide x 2.0 m long
4. X-large: approximately 2.4 m wide x 2.2 m long

The blanket was knitted with MoYa Caresse, but this yarn is apparently no longer available. The yarn was held double and knitted with 7mm knitting needles. Any yarn suitable to 6 mm or 7 mm knitting needles, will yield a satisfactory result.

It is also easy to adjust the pattern for another yarn weight. Simply repeat the pattern until the strips are to the length you require. If you need to make the blanket wider, repeat some of the panels.

• 6 mm knitting needles
• 6 mm double pointed needles for the i-cord
• 6 mm crochet hook
• Stitch markers
• 40 balls Moya Caresse for the small blanket
• 68 balls Moya Caresse for the medium blanket
• 84 balls Moya Caresse for the large blanket
• 110 balls Moya Caresse for the X-large blanket
