This scarf uses yarn overs to create a lace pattern using my cabled rib design.

The scarf is reversible.

The two ends have a sc edging.

If the scarf is knitted with a CO for 8 1/2” wide, the scarf will be 36” long making it fit closer to the neck. If the scarf is knitted with a CO for 4 1/2” wide, the scarf will be 72” long giving the scarf a sleeker design.

In the sample I used three skeins of the listed yarn. Two were white and one was red. The yarn is #3 DK weight 100% cotton, which showcased the cabled-rib lace design very nicely. I tried other yarns which didn’t work as well.
