This sweater is simple with the decoration in the edging; it has a split hem made of moss stitch and cables. After both the front and back ribbings are knit, they are joined with circular needles and knit in the round in stockinette stitch to the armholes, then split on to straight needles again to work the back and then the front. The sleeves and neck have the same moss stitch cable pattern as the hem.
The sweater has a boxy casual shape and is falls a bit longer than a midrise jean. It is knit with worsted weight yarn and is a good beginning project for someone new to cables. Sizes S(M,L) and the length is customizable.
