CABLE NECKWARMER
If you’re new to knitting cable, this may be a good ‘beginner’s’ scarf. The two principal techniques of cable knitting are used: ‘twisting’ cables where one cable crosses the other and ‘travelling’ cables where a cable moves to the right/left one stitch at a time to form a diagonal line.

It has been designed so there is only a 16 row repeat: within this repeat, the border cables twist every four rows (four twists for every oval). As with most cable designs, there is stocking stitch - with the purl stitches at the front - on either side of the cable. There is also a moss stitch border.
