Stitch abbreviations:

ch (chain stitch)
sl st (slip stitch)
hdc (half double crochet)
dc (double crochet)
fpdc (front post double crochet)
bpdc (back post double crochet)
fptr (front post treble crochet)
tc (treble crochet)
st (stitch/stitches)
sc2tog (single crochet 2 together)

This is what you’ll need:

Old throw pillow
Crochet hook 4mm
Light weight yarn (I used Special DK yarn)
4 to 6 buttons, depending on the size of your pillow
Needle to sew on the buttons
Yarn needle to weave in ends
