This shape-flattering tunic will be one of your most favorite vests! :)

The front has a cable pattern where the main pattern ends at the V-neck split.

The pattern has two different options to finish the edging at the v-neck and back of the neck.

One way, for more experienced knitters is to continue the cable and to attach it to the back of the neck. The other way, for less experienced knitters is to finish the neck off with a knit-two/purl-two edging.

Cascade Sitka yarn is one of the most beautiful yarns that I have had the pleasure to design with. It is 80% Merino and 20% Mohair. Its “regular” gauge is 16 sts/4”, however for this vest, I worked it on a U.S. 10 (6 mm) needle in a 14 sts/4” gauge (stockinette swatch). It is a warm but not bulky yarn that is spun in South Africa.
