Cable Socks
Easy to follow pattern
Cable socks are worked top down. Heel is worked with back and forth rows heel flap, short rows for heel turn, and round knitting with decreases for gusset. Foot and toe are worked in rounds while toe is shaped with decreases and seamed with The Kitchener Stitch.
The pattern is made for three sizes.
There are two socks, right and left, with a mirroring pattern.

35-36 - foot length 22.5-23.5 cm - 9”
37-39 - foot length 24-25 cm - 10”
40-42 - foot length 25.5-27 cm - 10.5”
YARN
One skein of any sock yarn 100 g - 400 m 437 yards ~ 60-65 grams
GAUGE
28 sts x 42 rows = 10x10cm 4” in stockinette stitch in round knitting after washing and blocking
NEEDLES
DPNs 2,5 mm US 1½ or circular 80-100 cm 32-40”
