A warm weather short-sleeved sweater tee with v-neck, slight shawl collar and cable detailing.

Wear as a tee or wear as a sweater vest layering piece over a long-sleeved tee.

SIZE: size M/L only, Finished bust measurement of 38/40 in / 96.5/101.5 cm.

Pattern includes written instruction and visual charts.

CONSTRUCTION:
tee is written with seperate instructions to either knit:

• IN-THE-ROUND: from the bottom up to the armholes after which the front and back sections are worked separately back and forth (pages 07-10 of PDF), OR

• FLAT & SEAMED: (This version may be easier to size up/down from) from the bottom up to the armholes worked flat, back and forth, and then seamed (pages 02-05 of PDF).

Finally, the collar and sleeve ribbing is picked up and knit upon completion (be it ITR or after FRONT & BACK have been seamed together).

YARN: this pattern is written for worsted-weight wool or blend yarn,
Approximately 800 yds / 732 m.

Sample knit with Plymouth Galway Worsted (100% wool, 210 yds / 192 m, 100g). Color: Blush, #0151, 4 skeins.

NEEDLES: adjust size to achieve gauge,
US7 (4.5 mm), straight.
US6 (4.0 mm), DPNs or 16-inch circular for sleeves.
US6 (4.0 mm), 24-inch circular for collar.

Notions: cable needle, stitch markers, 5 stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle. Optional: locking stitch markers or row counter.

GAUGE: 20 sts x 28 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in ST st with larger needles.
