These neat little booties feature a cable pattern on the instep, thick garter stitch soles, and a folded ankle cuff for added warmth and to keep them securely on little feet.

Instructions are given so that the booties can be quickly knitted in the round and sewn just along the sole, or knitted flat and sewn along the sole, heel and back of the foot.

The pattern is given in two sizes (premature, and newborn to 3 months). They are knitted in fingering or light sport weight yarn on size 3.25mm needles. This is a quick and easy project that would suit a beginner knitter.
