This pattern is my own design for a knitted cable top, skirt and a purse. It is designed to fit an American Girl doll.

Materials:
• DK (double knitting) or light-worsted weight yarn (such as Snuggly Baby Bamboo or Universal Yarn Bamboo Pop) in two colours
• 3.25 mm needles
• 4 buttons
• one yarn needle
• one cable needle or double-pointed needle

Gauge:
approximately 27 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles

Techniques/Stitches:
• long-tail cast-on
• k1 tbl (knit one through back loop)
• p1 tbl (purl one through back loop)
• M1L (make one left)
• ssk (slip, slip, knit)
• ssp (slip, slip, purl)
• cables
• knot stitch (instructions are included in the pattern)
