I wear a cowl virtually every day, all winter long! And I don’t mean just when I go out. So I am in constant need of soft-to-the touch, not-too-bulky, but still warm, easy-to-wear cowls. CABLED is exactly that!

Simple and elegant, with an I-cord edging and completely reversible cable pattern throughout, CABLED is the perfect accent that I am always looking for. And it is knit in the wonderfully light weight and extra soft Shibui Knits Drift yarn.

26 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10cm in Cable Pattern (blocked).
While exact gauge is not critical, variation in gauge will alter yardage requirement and measurements.

• 3 skeins Shibui Drift 85% Extra Fine Merino, 15% Cashmere; 110 yds/101m per 50g skein or
• Approx 325 yds/ 300m worsted weight yarn
• Small amount of waste yarn

• US size 8/5mm needles or sized needed to obtain gauge
• Crochet hook 1 size smaller
• Cable needle of similar size
• Tapestry needle

CONSTRUCTION
Provisional cast-on, then worked back-and-forth and grafted in cable pattern.
