Gauge has not been included here because exact gauge is not necessary. It does not use an entire ball of crochet cotton, but you will need little bits of various colors for your embellishments.

This pattern does not include the patterns for the embellishments. Be creative in your composition. Embroider, knit or crochet patterns for motifs and appliques to make your headband unique.

Although I did not use this exact pattern for my flower, the Crochet Flower Tutorial looks very similar to the large flower that I made.

The small flowers are created by chaining 4, joining in round, and making as many SC as will fit in the round (remembering to encase the tail at the same time). Pull the tail tight to draw in the center and use the yarn tails to tack the flowers down.
