This classic cabled hat is delightfully cozy. The design incorporates an oversized, folded up deep brim. The simple cable pattern has been designed to resemble a twisted boat rope. It’s a hat that would look good on the ski field, as well as on an early morning fishing expedition. I have used a very soft alpaca/merino blend for mine and I really think this is a hat that is best knitted in a single color, or subtle tweed yarn, to highlight the cable pattern.
