Cabled Bracelets
Quick and simple projects, perfect for summer knitting – these cabled bracelets turn small bits of cotton, linen, or hemp into your own coordinating rustic accessories. This pattern includes two simple cable designs for widths from 1 inch to 1 ½ inches.
Instructions for cabling with and without a cable needle are included, along with a link to Roxanne Richardson’s i-cord bind-off video instructions.
Sizes can be adjusted for adults, teens, and children. Bracelets made with worsted-weight yarn will be wider and thicker - those made with dk-weight yarn will be narrower and lighter.
Gauge is not critical for this project - the cable will pull in the width of your knitting. A typical stitch gauge in a worsted weight yarn will result in a 12-stitch bracelet about 1 1/2 inches wide - a 10-stitch bracelet will be about 1 inch wide.
Each bracelet uses less than half a skein of yarn (about 30 yards) - great for stash-busting!
Try embellishing your bracelets with buttons or beads for your own one-of-a-kind creations.
