A tweedy-looking cabled cardigan with a high round neck and buttons down the front. Vintage and fairly rustic looking.
No 32 as Cabled Cardigan in US magazine; No. 12 Thick Cable-Knit Long Jacket in British Edition Vogue Knitting Book No 67 (1965).
Blurb with picture on page 45 of US edition states: “A lovely fresh sprig of olive green cardigan - the lines are classic, the cabling twined in thick, double rows. The long sleeves reach to the wrist. All the edges are ribbed. Yarn by Spinnerin. Directions begin on page 84.”
