Cabled Cottage Socks
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
This pattern uses two skeins of Bernat Sox Multi. The pattern is written for a lefty like me. The only thing righties need to do is reverse the left and right twists for the cable pattern. I think everything else should be fine.
If I have the gumption, and if my charming family will give me the privacy, I will attempt to type up left and right-handed directions in the pattern.
This sock is a little on the thick feeling side, owing to the cables on both sides of the leg and the top of the foot. It was designed to be a nice warm sock for padding around the house in the fall and winter. You could wear these socks in boots if you wanted to, I did it just now and they felt okay in a pair of docs.
