This is a pattern for a cable lace shawl. It combines two well known stitches (one a cable and one a lace) in a way that they aren’t usually combined. The combination is striking.
The shawl that is pictured here is knit with Fleece Artist’s BFL Sport yarn, and requires 1100 - 1200 yards. The finished size is approximately 23 inches x 74 inches. It was expertly tested by Rasa Tautvydas who can be reached at: rrrasa@icloud.com

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of both lace knitting and cabling.

The pattern is both charted and written out, but if you are using the Line by Line instructions, it is always handy to be able to refer to the chart.

There are instructions contained within the pattern for making it as shown, and for making the two sides symmetrical.
There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
