Please excuse any confusion from the pattern; I made this one up as I went instead of writing it out before hand and it was hard to describe my technique.

The featured picture shows the scarf with the original 3 knit stitch border before I found out about how badly stockinette stitch curls. I changed the pattern to include a garter stitch border to help it lay flat.
