This pattern is an ADVANCED pattern. A previous knowledge of crocheted cables is extremely helpful.

You’ll need:
Worsted weight yarn
US I sized Crochet hook

These skills: chain, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, front and back post stitches, working in the round, increasing, decreasing, reading standard US Crochet abbreviations.

I recommend a lighter worsted weight yarn for this pattern, for better drape. My favorites are Lion Brand’s Wool Ease, and Knit Picks Swish Worsted. However, I have also used Hobby Lobby’s I Love This yarn (pictured), and it worked fine, it just ends up being a heavier hat.
