This cabled headband is super cute, fun and fast❤ Make it for yourself, for someone else or for that little in your life. I can usually get 2 adult headbands out of one skein of Spud & Chloe Outter or Malabrigo Rasta. This is my go-to gift project because it’s so speedy!

If you’re making this for an adult, use US15 needles. Making it for a little? In that case, simply size down your needle to a US13. I prefer to use 2 DPN’s because they’re short and never get in my way!

Now, sometimes a person has an exceptionally generous head size. For these people, you would execute the following modification:

❤ work rows 1-34 ❤

❤ then do a knit row ❤

❤ then repeat rows 28-34 ❤

❤ then continue your pattern from row 35 to end ❤

Doing this will add an additional cable repeat, getting you a longer headband. Perfect for those with bigger noggins!

Now you’ve pumped out a million headbands and are ready to start gifting them. Before you do, I suggest you ❤block❤block❤block! This will relax that cable and get you a wide and cushy headband.

Thanks so much for knitting my design. I strive to make my patterns easy to understand and fun to execute, so…. Have questions, suggestions or comments? I’d love to hear them ❤
