Cabled Hearts Shawl
I love the look of cabled stitches. They are so pretty and look so intricate. This pattern features linked hearts that go up the center and two alternating twisted cables on the sides. These hearts are actually pretty simple to do. The other cables are a little bit trickier, but not too bad once you get the hang of it! This shawl is worked from the bottom up.
To make your shawl like mine, you will need two skeins of Bernat Softee Baby and a 5mm hook. However, you can use any weight yarn and corresponding hook that you like. Gauge is not important. Just keep repeating the heart pattern until your shawl is as large as you want it.
My finished shawl is 60” across the top and 22” tall at the center point.
