Cabled knit topiary is knit in the round for top globe and then the bottom one is knit flat and seamed up. Poles are wrapped with brown ribbon. One skein is all it took for two topiaries. I have mine sitting in top soil, then covered with small pea gravel and then big pine cones on top.
