Cabled Laptop Cover
Here is a simple cabled cover for a laptop computer. One size fits many laptop sizes, due to the stretchiness of the pattern. Changes for a widescreen version are given in (brackets).
It has a seed stitch border around the outer edges of the top, and stretchy garter stitch all around the depth. There is a simple crocheted chain strap that holds the cover in place. You can substitute I-cord, if you prefer.
Stitches Used:
K, P, 3/3LC (3-over-3 left cable), K2tog, pu&K, provisional CO, slst, ch
Materials:
- Aran/heavy worsted weight, 115 - 120 yards
- size US 10 (6.00mm) long circular needles
- size H-8 (5.00mm) crochet hook (optional)
NOTE: Please note that this pattern requires a gauge of 3.25 sts/inch. Also, most of today’s laptops are considered “widescreen”; therefore, if in doubt please make the widescreen version.
