It also works when someone in the house likes it a bit cooler than you do. You can wrap this around your shoulders and it will keep you a bit warmer.

If you want a wrap with a different width, simply decrease or increase the number of repeats between the bold blue lines on the Cabled Lattice Wrap Chart to make this your wrap. Modify the length of the length by increasing the number of times you knit the chart rows.
