I wanted to create a leg warmer using cables and this is what I came up with.

Yes, I used Paintbox Yarns/Socks, but feel free to use a different yarn if you want. I think this would also look great in a tonal or even a striped color.

These can be knit with or without the extra cuff on the top. I just happen to like the way the cuff looks.

Except for the beginning and end of the pattern, it is all charted out and I feel fairly easy to follow. In fact, would be easy to memorize if you do a lot of cables.
