Cabled Pillbox
Mari Tobita’s smart topper is composed of a cabled panel knit sideways and trimmed with I-cord then attached to a separately knit top. With six different criss-crossing patterns, it’s a cable knitter’s dream!

MATERIALS
• 1 (1) 3 1/2oz/100g hank (each approx 241yd/220m) of Fyberspates Scrumptious DK/Worsted(wool/silk) in #104 plum YARN WT = 4
• Size 6 (4mm) needles OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE
• One set (5) size 6 (4mm) double-pointed needles (dpns)
• Cable needle (cn)
• Tapestry needle
• 3 3/4”/2cm buttons

GAUGE
22 1/2 sts and 32 rows = 4”/10cm over St st, using size 6 needles.
37 sts and 34 rows = 4”/10cm over cable panel, using size 6 needles. TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGES.
