This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Patti-Ann Williamson.

This versatile pullover-style poncho is knit in two identical rectangular pieces, then seamed together (diagram included for how to sew the two rectangles together). Each rectangle has an outer ribbed portion, a double-moss stitch section, then the inner large cable pattern. Once the poncho pieces are assembled, stitches are picked up around the neck and knit (in ribbing) to the desired length. A fringe can be added once the poncho is complete, or omitted. Completely up to you! Knit in a chunky yarn, this poncho knits up quickly. One size fits most (Patti-Ann is about 5’9” tall and the poncho reaches mid-thigh on her).

Materials Required:
1050 meters of Chunky weight yarn
8mm knitting needles (circular of any length or a 14” pair)
7mm x 60cm circular needle OR 7mm double pointed needles (for neck)
Cable needle

6.5mm-8mm crochet hook (for fringe; optional)
