I designed this hat during the Hogwarts Sock Kit Swap 5, as part of a SPEW (Society for Production of Excellent Wearables) project.

I wanted a simple cable hat suitable for a premature baby boy, as I had knit several lacy hats in girl colours, and needed some balance in the package for Bonnie Babies UK.

It is a simple design using traditional cable knit in rounds either on DPN’s or circular needles, with crown shaping sympathetic to the cable columns.
