My dear Test knitter tried it out on her son who has flat feet. She said he shoved his foot in, without seeing anything and it fitted perfectly. He was so happy that he told her to make him many more.

A lady in a knitting group requested ideas for socks for her flat feet. It’s a burning desire in me to design different constructions of Socks. These were gifted to the concerned person. With lots of love & concern. They have a different, special Heel, & also a cushioned bottom, (especially comforting for the Sole, besides adding to the life of the socks.)
Rediscover the slowness of breath. The special mystique records the nuances of life. Extensively planned yet simply written. Listen to your inner voice. You have the power to make a difference. If you haven’t realized it yet…it’s time to spread love & warmth, & make others happy. Share. You only have this life…make a mark..and please be kind.
Knitting is an ancient art. It has exalted status. But let us remember it also includes music. Knitting and the musical sound of the needles are always wedded. They co-exist in essence and in substance. Nature and all its aspects, woven into the cycle of creation of original knitting patterns continue to dance while being sustained by music. It’s hard to beat the beauty of a well-crafted knitted article. Immerse yourself in this art forgetting all else. This in today’s world is a luxury. It’s magical and truly interesting. To watch the creative process unfurl. After the patterns emerge on your needles, you see it’s aesthetic appeal. This is an endeavour of great subtlety.

Materials: Berroco Comfort Sock, Colour#1757, 1 ball, 100 gms, 412m, 50% Superfine Acrylic, 50% Superfine Nylon. OR
Ganga Acrowools Yarn Glowing Star Grande: Colour #82, 1 ball, 200 gms, 83% Acrylic, 17% Nylon. 545m.
2 sets of 3.25mm Fixed Circular Knitting Needles or size to obtain gauge.
The entire Sock is worked in the Round. Even the Heel. Enjoy the warmth. Be happy & make others happy. That’s the essence of life!**
