I designed this pattern for those who have learnt the basics of knitting and want to develop their skills.
Cables are a great way of adding wonderful texture and patterns to your knitting. Knitting cables are much simpler to do than you might at first think and add fantastic visual impact to your work.
This pattern uses a clever double plait cable for the front of the cuff and moss stitch for the back. There are detailed instructions given for both right and left wrist.

Construction: Once you have cast on you (using cable cast on) you will be working on straight needles to knit each wrist as a rectangular piece. To finish you will simply join the sides by sewing and leaving a gap (optional) for your thumb.

Size: (Small) Finished Wrist warmers laid flat; approximately 8.5 cms width/ 16 cms length (this can be adjusted for desired length)

Notions: Size 4.5 knitting needles
Cable needle
Tapestry needle

Yarns: I used 1 x 50 gm ball of Rowan Kid Classic yarn for this project, although any aran/worsted weight can be substituted.
