Cabled Yoke Pullover
Pattern is only for size MEDIUM/LARGE with a finished bust circumference of 40 inches / 100 cm.
Pattern updated to include instructions for BOTH Heavy Worsted (16 x 22) and Worsted-weight (20 x 26) yarns.
• Worsted-weight pattern uses US7 & US5 needles. With approx. 1,200 yds (1,097 m) or 550g of yarn needed.
• Heavy worsted-weight pattern uses US9 needles and yarn approximation listed above.
This sweater utilizes the typical ‘bicycle spoke’ shaping common to yoke sweaters, but incorporates regularly spaced decreases, similar to a raglan, for a better fit. A balance between small cables and decreases create a classic, delicate pattern. Knit in a heavy-worsted weight, this sweater is perfect for colder weather. There is no waist shaping to provide better ease with layering in cold weather.
A beginner to intermediate project. Requires a working knowledge of knitting in the round, cables, decreasing and grafting for the underarm ‘seams.’ Directions are provided with both charts and written instructions, to ensure clarity.
This is a VERY warm and cozy sweater for when it is cold outside!
