This pattern makes a blanket about 1 x 1.75m, knitted in 28 squares which are then sewn together. The squares are made using a variety of cable-knitting patterns.

You will need:
1 pair of 3mm needles
1 x 3mm cable needle
1 wool needle for sewing up
14 x 100g balls of 8 ply yarn (1 ball makes 2 squares. For the blanket shown in the pictures, I bought 1 ball of each monocolour yarn and 7 balls of the multicoloured yarn).
