This beanie is made with cables and by crocheting backwards over stitches, and crossing them, it creates a sort of twisted lace. This is NOT an easy pattern.

This pattern is rated as INTERMEDIATE. I had almost a dozen pattern testers and no one with less than 5 years experience was able to figure it out. This is not to scare you. I just want anyone interested to be aware that it is definately an intermediate pattern. Once you get the hang of how the pattern works, it actually works up pretty quickly.
