Materials:
- WW4 yarns: RHSS Ombres were used in the creation of this pattern
o 6- 10 oz skeins (482 yds/skein) will make the XL/2XL size with hood (2,468 yds used, which is slightly over 5 skeins)
o 5- 10 oz skeins (482 yds/ skein) will make the M/L size with hood (2,315 yds used which is slightly less than 5 full skeins)

  • Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook
  • Size “J” (5.75MM) hook
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends Notes:
  1. This pattern was created with the beginner in mind, however, it is rated as intermediate: SC, HDC, DC, TR, post stitches used
  2. This pattern is written in US terms for the right-handed crocheter
  3. This pattern contains many photos to help you along the way
  4. This pattern has 2 finishing options: with hood or without hood
  5. Sizing: a. M/L: fits chest size up to 48” b. XL/2XL: fits chest size up to 52”
  6. This pattern can be easily adapted to make a shorter or longer cardigan
  7. Gauge using DC: a. Size “H” (5.00 MM) hook: 8 DC rows= 4”, 14 DC sts= 4” b. Size “J” (5.75 MM) hook: 7 DC rows = 4”, 13 DC sts= 4”
  8. Chain 2’s at beginning of rounds count in stitch count
  9. Stitches in box brackets are to be repeated total number times stated after brackets
  10. Stitches in { } curly brackets are to be repeated total number of times stated after brackets (these are used when there are other portions of the round that have to be repeated as well)
  11. Numbers in ( ) parentheses at end of rounds indicate total stitch count for round
  12. Finished product: wash in cold or luke-warm water, tumble dry on low heat or lay flat to dry
