Knitted drop-shoulder cardigan to fit Götz Happy Kidz or Classic Kidz and other slim 18-20” dolls. Cardigan body is knit flat, either following a chart or written instructions, with sleeves knit either in the round from picked-up sts or flat and sewn in place. Buttonholes are placed at each end of row. Unneeded buttonholes will be used for button placement. Includes simple sewn pleated skirt, which takes 1/4 to 1/3 yard of quilting cotton or homespun and is made without pattern pieces from two rectangles.
Note: This pattern as-written may be tight on an American Girl doll. I do not have one of these dolls to try on. A larger gauge might be required.
