This design makes a creative use of the traditional kimono shape. Shaping is super simple so you can concentrate on your cables and lace. Multiple gauges are offered in the pattern. See details below.

YARN, GAUGE, SIZE AND MACHINE:
For bulky machines choose worsted weight yarn that gets 4 stitches per inch. For mid-gauge machines try a sport or DK yarn that gets 5 stitches per inch. For standards and Passaps use fingering weight that gets 7 stitches per inch. The relaxed shape of this cardigan makes it unnecessary to match gauge perfectly. Set the stitch size for a slightly
looser than normal stitch to facilitate cable crossing. The looser than normal stitch size is likely to make the row gauges a bit looser than usual
