A soft, cozy bedspread that provides an elegant, handmade touch to a king sized bed. Two different styles of cable provide texture and interest both while knitting and in the finished product.

This bedspread is worked in three panels which are seamed together at the end to create the king-sized coziness seen here. Each panel is worked in a single strand so the result is a loose, drapey afghan instead of a tight weave. It comes out like a soft sweater to curl up under!

Color in the main photo is Vanna’s Choice in Linen. Plan to buy about 35 skeins to finish the afghan.

notes:
requires size J crochet hook for seam
best to use knitting clips to hold edges together for seaming
use stitch markers to mark beginning and end of each cable section

I modeled this pattern off of a pin I found on Pinterest, but the design was of my own process. Feel free to make and sell the finished product, but please do not sell the pattern.

This pattern was designed as I went, and as such was not test knitted or professionally proofed and published. I will do my best to answer questions, but I do not have the ability to support as I know professional designers are able to.

for those of you who have been asking about the pouf my friend made to go with it, here is the pattern she used:
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/pinwheel-pouf

she added a zipper at the bottom to allow the cover to come off and inserted a child’s beanbag chair for the stuffing.
