Cables are in again! This is a pattern for a messy bun/ponytail hat using cables for a beautiful texture.
The pattern fits adult small through large head size as it is very stretchy.
This pattern uses 2 hook sizes (6mm & 5mm), yarn, yarn needle, scissors, and a hair elastic (I use the ouchless “Goody” brand).
If made in one solid color using Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn” one skein is sufficient. If using a multicolored or variegated, then it may take slightly more than one skein. Sample pictures include a variegated hat with solid brim.
