My love for long triangular scarves is as strong as it gets! Let me introduce you with a third take on, the youngest sibling to Scarflette and Leaflette, this time using a simple, yet very beautiful cable pattern.

The scarf is worked sideways from tip to tip. You will increase stitches until you reach the midpoint and then you will decrease them symmetrically. The entire scarf is worked in a simple cable pattern, with a garter border and I-cord edge.

The pattern has been created 100% by me for you - from the first drop of dye in the pot to the last stitch. It’s designed with a fabulous Thibetanus in mind which you can get through my small online shop Cecily Grove Yarns.

Size
One: approx. 235 cm/92.5” long and 30 cm/11.75” deep at center.

Yarn
1 skein of Thibetanus by Cecily Grove Yarns (65% merino, 20% silk, 15% yak; 480m/525y per 120g). Shown in colorway Peacock.
or approx. 480m/525y of any other light fingering yarn which gives you the correct gauge.

Needles
3.25 mm/US #3 circular needle (60 cm/24” long), or size needed for gauge.

Other
Stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving

Gauge
27 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm/4” in pattern, measured flat after wet blocking. One pattern repeat (16 sts x 12 rows) measures approx. 6 cm/2.5” wide by 4 cm/1.5” tall.
The gauge is crucial on this project as the sample used an entire 120g skein. Differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage so I strongly recommend making a swatch and adjusting the needle size as necessary. Otherwise, make sure to have extra yarn on hand.

Difficulty level: 3/5
The pattern is easier than Scarflette!
The pattern is fully charted and written out.

If you purchase 5 of my self-published designs at the same time (they need to be in the same cart), you will get the least expensive for free!
