This shawl offers a lot of our favorite things in one knitted accessory--three colors to play in slip-stitch stripes, a touch of Old Shale lace, and a soft tweedy yarn. We couldn’t resist a nod to the “whole kit and caboodle” and we hope this piece has a lot of your favorite design elements too! And--bonus--the bias asymmetrical triangle shape has a long tail for wrapping and styling this deliciously drapey fabric!

SAMPLE SHOWN

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Please note these are yarn estimates. The amount used will depend on yarn, your personal gauge, and any modifciations you make.

Dimond Laine Elmer Tweed Fingering (70% merino, 30% cashmere; 200 yards per 50g or 400 yards per 100g); 2 50g skeins in C1, 1 skein each in C2 and C3,

AND

Dimond Laine Birdie (74% alpaca, 26% silk; 328 yards per 50g); 3 skeins total, 1 each in 3 colors.

One strand of Elmer Tweed Fingering and Birdie held together throughout. Note: overdyed Elmer Tweed Fingering is a limited edition yarn, but we love hand-dyed Dimond Laine Elmer Fingering as a substitute.
