The pattern will work with any yarn size, just use the hook that has been recommended for your yarn. Size will depend on your type of yarn, size of hook and your tension.

I suggest using DK yarn, with a 4mm hook which will give a finished measurement of approx 40mm x 40mm (16” x 16”) with tension of 12st and 11 rows in Dc (Sc) to 10cm/4in.
