The cactus cowl is the perfect addition to any plant-lovers outfit. The cowl is worked in a tube using stranded colorwork. A twist is then made to add extra character (you can opt to skip the twist). The pattern comes with a complete colorwork chart to complete the cowl. This chart can also be used to make other projects using the cactus design (pillows, blankets, scarves, etc.)

Materials:

Worsted weight yarn
130 grams/240 yards of tan yarn. (I used Caron Simply soft in Bone)
50 grams/93 yards of yellow yarn. (I used Caron Simply Soft in Gold)
110 grams/204 yards of green yarn. (I used Caron simply soft in Dark Sage.)
40 grams/74 yards of white yarn. (I used Caron Simply Soft in White)
US 9/5.5 mm circular needles
Tapestry needle for sewing
Scissors
