Caddis is a triangle shawl knit on the bias, with two sizes to knit! The larger size is designed as a convertible asymmetric poncho, and the .PDF includes instructions on how to make the removable toggles to create that look.

You’ll need:
About 580 yards of fingering-weight yarn (sample shown in Knitpicks Hawthorne in Elliot)
40” circular needle in US6-7/4.0-4.5mm, or size needed for gauge
Tapestry needle
Optional:
6 buttons, lightweight, approximately 1”/ 2.54cm diameter, or size to fit eyelets

Gauge is 16 sts and 31 rows over 4”/10cm of blocked garter stitch.
If you knit tightly, you may need to swatch with much larger needles to get the results shown, even up to a US9 or 10!
