The name Cadie means rhythmic flow of sounds. This shrug pattern is exactly like a rhythmic repeat, hence the name seemed apt to me. This is a pattern for beginners, using only double crochets, single crochet and chain stitches. This shrug is made from a single rectangle, with no shaping. Filet crochet will be used for the main cardigan shrug, and an easy shell pattern for the border. Minimal seaming is involved.
It can be worn in 2 ways, the chains facing up or down.
Skill level: Easy, beginner friendly.
