There are several cowls on Ravelry that use this particular mosaic pattern. However, this pattern adds a very complimentary edging on the bottom and the top for a more finished result. Because of the overlap of the designs, I chose to publish this as a free pattern.

Both the edging and the mosaic are in chart form only. The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up.

For a more shaped cowl that tapers toward the top, go down a needle size or even two sizes about halfway up the cowl.
