This is a really simple, elegant project. Perfect for a new knitter, but an experienced knitter will also appreciate the simplicity of the project and the texture of the yarn. The scarf makes a really nice gift.

Bernat Velvet yarn is very slippery. I recomend leaving long tails for weaving in extra yarn to secure the ends.
