The Neapolitans claim that they have the best coffee in the world, and who am I to disagree? Boiling hot, short and strong, served in tiny cups, it’s a shot of that energy for which Naples is known.

Caffè Napoletano is an asymmetrical triangular shawl. It begins with a soothing garter stitch section where the increases and shawl shaping are made. Knit-in I-cords keep the edges neat. The shawl ends with beautiful lace that is shaped with short rows. The colors in my sample come from the dark brown of the strong espresso coffee and the “crema”, the special foam the pressured coffee machines create on top of the cup.
