This quaint little dishcloth reminds me of notebook paper because of the lines on the paper. The 2 color version is double sided because every other time you do the sc line it appears on the opposite side from the time before. This will make a functional yet pretty addition to any kitchen. It could also be used as a washcloth. You get to choose if you want to make it in one color or the two color version. The two color version might not work so well with variegated yarn, but go ahead and give it a try.

** It is suggested that you use a sharp headed crochet hook to get through the back bumps of the sc, but you can simply turn your hook backwards and hook the bump with the hook edge of your hook. A smaller hook to work the sc rows might also be helpful.
